Scott Mountain Bike Time Trial & Twilight Criterium

You asked for it. And you got it, again!

Scott Mountain Bike Time Trials will be at East Athens Community Park, less than 2 miles from the downtown race course.  The time trial will start at 9:30 am.  RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 9 AM.

Riders will go off every 2 minutes.  The general order of riders will be as follows:  expert category racers will go off first, intermediate racers will go off second, and beginner racers will go off third.  Top 50 times across all categories will qualify to race in the nighttime Scott Mountain Bike Finals Criterium.

The Finals will be held on the traditional 4-corner Twilight course and will be 20K long (20 laps). Payouts will be determined based on the number of entrants.

Criterium Rules:

In an effort to make this a true mountain bike race, riders will ride the same bike for the Criterium as they ride for the Time Trial, except tires may be switched out.

Gears and chain rings can NOT be switched out

No drop bars will be allowed

Tire width has to be at least 1.5 in

Slick tires are allowed
