Fat Tire Criterium
Come out and race your mountain bike around the same course that the pros do. This year's exciting new addition to the Twilight Criterium will be a crowd favorite with its "win and out" format. Win and out works like this: The riders will race for 5 laps, and then on the 6th lap, the person across the finish line first wins the race. On the 7th lap, the first person across the line is 2nd and so on until all the riders are finished. There will be 20 total laps and the payout is 15 deep. This race is open to expert and sport riders.
Equipment Rules: Flat bars only (no drop bars), bar-ends ok, 1.25" minimum tires. Tires will be checked prior to start. Bib # placement is essential. You must have your race bib # located on your left side. If your number is not legible by the finish camera, you will not be scored.
Mountain Bike Trials
Come watch some of the top performers jump and ride their bikes over and across several obstacles. The whole point is to not lose balance or put your feet down, and points are deducted if this happens. The person with the most points at the end of each demo wins. The Bike Trials will be taking place on Friday, April 25 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM with performances usually taking place every hour. The Bike Trials will be located on the 100 Block of College Avenue.
